SPECIFICATIONS

DELIVERY:                        

·         Contract will start no later than 15 days after bid acceptance. The Board reserves the option to refuse late delivery and accept the next lowest Bid.

REQUIREMENTS:               

• Adulticide, 20% Permethrin products compatible with AMCD bulk dispensing machines or, providing bulk dispensing machines (4) and compatible with AMCD ULV machines.
• Adulticide, 20% Permethrin products delivered in 30 gallon or 55 gallon drums.
• Adulticide, 20% Permethrin products approximant gallons for contract period, 2,500 gallons.
• BTI liquid compatible with AMCD larviciding machines.
• BTI liquid delivered in 2.5 gallon jugs.
• BTI liquid approximant gallons for contract period, 4,500 gallons.
• BTI granule compatible with AMCD blowers.
• BTI granule delivered in 40 lb. bags.
• BTI granule approximant pounds for contract period 11,000 pounds.
• Bid will not be awarded until product has been tested by AMCD for efficacy.
• Apparent winning bidder will provide a sample of all pesticides for testing before award of bid.
• Regular delivery of product will be between 7AM and 2PM Monday thru Friday.
• Delivery of product may be to three AMCD locations.
• Contract period will be for three (3) years fixed price.
• Amount of product purchased yearly will not exceed dollar amount approved by the AMCD Board.
• Shipping and fright charges will be included with bid prices.
• Payment will be 30 days net. Statement billing.

Sealed Bid Opening: At Regular A.M.C.D. Board of Commissioners’ Meeting on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 500 Old Beach Road, St. Augustine, Florida 32080.

Here is the “Specifications” for Adultcide 20% Permethrin, Larvicide BTI liquid and granule that the AMCD Board will be opening Bids for at their meeting on Thursday, April 13, 2006, 4:00 p.m.

Hand delivery, US Postal service, Parcel services (UPS or Fed Exp) and couriers are acceptable methods of delivering your bid.

I am advertising for these items in the St. Augustine Record newspaper, Legal Notices, in the

March 25, 2006 Saturday edition, prior to the April 13, meeting, providing

“Reasonable notice” for advertisement as per Florida Statutes.

A particular procedure for submitting a sealed bid to Our Board is necessary, following the District’s Policies and Procedures.

Bid numbers will be assigned as B06-4 (your company name) Adultcide 20% Permethrin, Larvicide BTI liquid and granule.

Bids shall be submitted in duplicate with eight (8) copies of the price sheet,  in a sealed envelope, and are to be identified (in the lower, left-hand corner of the envelope) with your assigned bid number  and the words, “SEALED BID” (written or typed) directly under the bid number.”
